Control Dynamix helps its clients to develop, design, implement and maintain Tridium Niagara Control Systems. Control Dynamix combines the latest tools with a deep knowledge of how people interact with building technology to create attractive, user-friendly, web based controls. We principally act as a contract Niagara Application Engineer for both AX and N4 systems. Also, over the last several years, we've developed a set of dedicated tools for optimizing electric Vehicle (EV) charging.

Application Engineering Services - Control Dynamix offers its clients the flexibility to add Niagara AX application engineering capacity as needed. Controls contracting is tough enough without excess overhead. Skilled engineers are expensive and difficult to find. Our clients maximize profitability by limiting their cost for unused hours by relying on Control Dynamix.
Untethered capabilities - Unlike many control companies, Control Dynamix believes that its contractor clients should own their control system. Therefore at project turnover, we deliver all passwords and system information so that clients can choose whomever they want to service their system. We feature Niagara JACE components from Lynxspring that allow any Niagara qualified engineer to access the system.
Charging a fleet of electric vehicles can dramatically increase a facility’s cost for electricity. This increase results from both increased energy consumption (kWh) and higher peak charges (kW). Control Dynamix developed a set of proprietary tools to help energy managers to optimize the cost of charging fleet electric vehicles - EvMetrix, EvAuto and EvControl.
EvMetrix provides valuable data about the charging cycle that's useful for designing strategies to minimize the cost of charging. EvMetrix analyzes raw energy consumption data to provide data streams specifically designed to describe EV charging. The system provides meaningful insights into energy usage and fleet operation, and enables fleet managers to confidently participate in peak load management (“PLM”) or demand response (“DR”) programs. EvMetrix provides a daily summary of charging operations that give operators actionable information on each vehicle’s daily operation and charge cycle.
EvAuto provides automated electric vehicle charge cycle management, enabling customers to automatically optimize EV charging. The system manages charging on a real-time basis, adapting to the daily ebbs and flows of fleet operation while delivering simple to configure control to energy managers. EvAuto provides an energy manager with easy-to-use, intuitive tools to control the daily load curve for fleet electric vehicles, and dynamically adapts charging based on each day’s conditions while ensuring that each vehicle receives a full charge.
EvControl is a complete control system that includes all of the necessary hardware and software to optimize fleet charging. The system ships in weathertight NEMA 3 enclosures and includes a JACE, Cellular modem, I/O, and a revenue grade power meter.
Together, these tools provide an energy manager with the knowledge and tools needed to reduce peaks, shift usage and monitor the effectiveness of the charge strategy.
