According to the DALI IEC 62386 standards every DALI network requires a special DALI power supply to support voltage changes on the DALI network as part of the DALI communications protocol and to provide in addition operational power to specific DALI input components such as DALI sensors in addition to the DALI transceiver side of DALI LED drivers, ballasts etc..
It is perfectly reasonable for a CeP™) to locally source such products so long as they strictly conform to the DALI IEC 62386 standard and deliver enough DALI power per network to adequately support the number of connected DALI devices.
